Ten Favourite Free Things

1. Looking at the scenery (yes I have to drive there to see it, but I am going past it anyway)

2. Looking at the red leaves on my liquid ambar or sweet gum in late autumn or early winter, out the window.

3. Watching my fish in the fish pond. (Unfortunately I have to drive there to see them.)

4. Reading novels from the library.

5. My youngest daughter's smiles and hugs. She seems to always have them.

6. Watching sunsets. No driving required.

7. Enjoying the roses on my arch, they always seem to flower, except in winter of course. They are Renae roses.

8. If I am in my car I listen to music, I don't seem to listen to my CDs any other time.

9. Getting things from the tip, yes I don't actually do the dirty work.

10. Watching the older girls ride their ripstick skate board and powerwing scooter.

I was going to post here today, a song called Simple Man by Adam Brand. There is no video for it, but it brought me to Last FM. That a fantastic website. It straight away said that I would like this song by Sara Storer called Moonstruck. I am unsure what the words mean yet, but it is a lovely song.

Making : Notes or a short list here and there
Cooking : something from the menu
Drinking : Lemonade (something like 7Up)
Reading: just finished The Desires of Her Heart by Lyn Cote
Wanting: more weather like this
Looking: forward to any jobs we can get done over the holidays ie January
Playing: looking at our new goldfish in the bowl
Wasting: I suppose time
Sewing: my daughter is using her new toy sewing machine
Wishing: for nothing, I have been pretty blessed lately
Enjoying: watching Selling Houses on TV
Waiting: for pay day!
Liking: my shortbread, though I haven't started eating it yet
Wondering: what it was like in Ikea today, my son went there, lucky him
Loving: finding some more Christmas goodies, I was wondering where my mince pies went to
Hoping: the weather and conditions stay nice for shopping day, no high winds etc.
Marvelling: at Mum knowing what I may like
Needing: a few more coins
Smelling: wet rainy air from outside
Wearing: Brown capris and beige t-shirt
Following: going to read about Mandy's Christmas
Noticing: my swan plant has baby swans, and there is a monarch butterfly in the garden, a good combination!
Knowing: the library will be open tomorrow
Thinking: about how my son went to Costco today for the first time
Feeling: a bit confused, I guess it is time to move on from Christmas to something else, though I guess there is no rush
Bookmarking: haven't been on the computer much
Opening: on Christmas Day I got the 4 Ingredients cookbook
Giggling: at the music video on TV, It's my Town by Sovereign

Making : a nice folded overfull stack of laundry in the basket
Cooking : maybe we will have a sausage, egg salad for tea
Drinking : tea
Reading: no novels on the go yet
Wanting: a novel to read
Looking: at the back lawn that needs mowing
Playing: nothing, except enjoying Joolz mixpod
Wasting: I have the day to waste, but think I should have my eyes closed
Sewing: my daughter is making a little handbag with her material collection and sewing scissors
Wishing: Christmas didn't have that yuck feeling about now, still unsure how to avoid it, however that is not the case today
Enjoying: the cooler weather
Waiting: for my girls to come home from swimming and bike riding
Liking: the things the girls bought to wear this summer
Wondering: about the scores for VCE or Year 12
Loving: well liking at least Lee Kernaghan's Planet Country CD
Hoping: the scores are good, at least to be able to go to the city, the regional uni is only first year
Marvelling: at the kids, they are amazing sometimes
Needing: more listening time perhaps
Smelling: a bathmat that needs washing, sorry
Wearing: orange, I notice bright colours stand out in the street, maybe I should still to another colour
Following: reading a little in my google reader
Noticing: how my daughter's tomatoes need water
Knowing: my husband is having trouble starting the mower
Thinking: about where we are up to, after a big day out you have to forget that and keep going, not much time to dwell around here
Feeling: tired
Bookmarking: nothing
Opening: I don't open a lot of things, will have an ebay parcel next week
Giggling: don't remember
Feeling: peaceful

Reading: re-reading Tender Grace by Jackina Stark and her discussion questions and blog

Looking: ahead to buying some things at the real shops
Playing: just sitting on the lawn with my daughter
Wasting: time sitting under the tree at school waiting for the bus instead of reading the notice
Sewing: nothing at the moment
Wishing: for a part time job for our second son
Enjoying: A Golden Gaytime
Waiting: For hubby to come home from the shop
Liking: sitting on the grass in the garden
Wondering: if my husband will have the chance to get his hair cut
Loving: the sound of birds outside all the time, so special
Hoping: for good results on my son's VCE results
Marvelling: at being able to dry things on the line after a puppy and a foggy winter
Needing: to go grocery shopping, plan my menu and pay some bills
Smelling: unfortunately fumes in my car after taking the mower and petrol in it
Wearing: a black t-shirt & jeans
Following: it is very hard to read my reader at such a slow speed, but I tried
Noticing: how the bluebells are finished and there is a first rose on the arch (Renae)
Knowing: Christmas is coming, vaguely
Thinking: about planning some more things, like a trip to the dentist
Feeling: nicer after being in the garden and down the street
Bookmarking: I don't bookmark
Opening: my icecream
Giggling: maybe about the animals that my daughter saw today at the sanctuary
